The project Basic Digital Literacy Skills Course “E-Citizen” is aimed at offering free courses with a purpose of increasing basic digital literacy skills among the working-age population in Estonia. The project was ordered by the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communication.

During 2018-2021, the objective of the project is to decrease digital skills gap by providing 5000 people with low digital literacy essential computer and internet skills (including knowledge and skills in e-services and ID-card solutions). The courses take place across Estonia. The courses are offered in Estonian and Russian languages. The length of one course is 8 academic hours.
